Diljit Dosanjh to Perform at Latin Grammy Awards 2026
Punjabi superstar Diljit Dosanjh will perform at the 2026 Latin Grammy Awards in Las Vegas on November 12, the Latin Recording Academy confirmed on November 5, placing him alongside Karol G, Bizarrap and some of the biggest names in Latin music at the 27th edition of the awards.
A first for Punjabi music on the Latin Grammy stage
The announcement marks another major milestone for Punjabi music, which has been reaching steadily wider audiences far beyond India in recent years. Diljit’s inclusion puts a Punjabi artist on one of the world’s biggest music stages, alongside the leading names of Latin music.
Diljit’s team celebrated the news with a comment on the Latin Recording Academy’s Instagram announcement, writing “Punjabi AA Gaye Grammy Oye” — a line that quickly went viral among his fans. Supporters flooded social media to celebrate the achievement, with one fan calling it “a really proud moment for all Punjabis” and another describing him as the biggest music star the country has ever produced.

The 27th Latin Grammy Awards will take place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on November 12. Actor Roselyn Sánchez will host the ceremony for the 10th time, and the show will be broadcast live on TelevisaUnivision’s platforms in the United States, including Univision, UNIMÁS, ViX and Galavisión.
This year’s event will also honour Mexican singer-songwriter José Alfredo Jiménez, a major figure in ranchera music. The tribute segment will be produced by Edgar Barrera.
Diljit’s year so far
Diljit is currently on his Aura India Tour, which began with a concert in Delhi on October 30. His next show is scheduled for Indore on November 15, just days after the Latin Grammy ceremony.
Known for popular tracks such as ‘Kinni Kinni’, ‘Lover’, ‘Do You Know’, ‘5 Taara’ and ‘Born To Shine’, the singer has built a following that extends well beyond the Punjabi music scene. He recently lent his voice to a devotional rendition of the Hanuman Chalisa for Nitesh Tiwari’s film ‘Ramayana: Rise of a Legend’.
The Latin Grammy performance adds another international first to a career that has already taken Punjabi music to arenas around the world, and fans will now be watching to see which song he chooses for the Las Vegas stage.
